Circulating Copies is an exhibition format that brings artistic works to screens and loudspeaker systems across the city of Düsseldorf. Through moving image, sound, captioning, audio description, and sign language poetry, the featured works explore how these infrastructures organize, negotiate, and reflect how we see and hear in public space.

The accompanying publication for Circulating Copies 2026 was edited by Linnea Semmerling in collaboration with Darija Šimunović and Judith Greitemann. It has been published in an edition of 500 copies as a printed German-language brochure, as well as an accessible PDF in both German and English.

For the publication, graphic designer Massimiliano Audretsch developed the new typeface G2 Hyper. It is a hyperlegible font whose letterforms are clearly differentiated to improve readability. In designing the typeface, Audretsch drew on the guidelines of the Braille Institute. The font is open source and can be downloaded free of charge from the Gruppo Due website: gruppo-due.com.
