Have you ever dreamed of time traveling? Now, finally, it could come to pass. If you are in Düsseldorf in June or July, with a little luck you can book one of thirty tickets for the Düsseldorf Time Travel Experiment and take a trip with us.

The artist duo Hörner/Antlfinger have since 2005 been experimenting with time travel with participants in various countries, focusing on the process of the imagination. Under the guidance of licensed psychiatrist Assad Zahran, the time travels go into a slight trance and imagine the city of Düsseldorf in the past, present, and future. The inner images that result in this way can be recorded in drawings or notes and then discussed by fellow travelers.

This workshop is aimed at everyone with a personal connection to Düsseldorf—for participants who speak a different language it is possible on request to have a simultaneous translation into English and other languages.

This workshop series is part of the supplementary program of the group exhibition Planet B: 100 Ideen für eine neue Welt, in which Hörner/Antlfinger are represented by the media-art installation Back to the Future, Forward to the Past: Three Time Travel Experiments.
