Nele Kaczmarek studied art and cultural studies. From 2016 to 2022 she worked as Kunstverein Braunschweig’s curator, where she organized solo and group exhibitions as well as publications with artists such as Hannah Black, K.R.M. Mooney, Steve Bishop, Carolyn Lazard or more recently Rory Pilgrim and Karrabing Film Collective. She further (co-)curated projects at the Kunstverein Dresden, at SAVVY Contemporary Berlin or at the Braunsfelder Collection, Cologne, and advised Tangente, St. Pölten/Vienna. Since March 2023, Nele Kaczmarek is working as IMAI—Inter Media Art Institute’s interim director.
