Lucia Horňáková studied arts management at the University of Economics and Business in Prague, where she also obtained her doctorate with the thesis on contemporary art acquisitions in the Czech Republic. Parallel to her studies, she worked for art museums, galleries, digital culture projects and art awards in Prague (CZ), Rotterdam (NL), Dijon (FR) and Bratislava (SK). In her academic and professional career, she focuses on the dissemination of art and the promotion of culture as an essential factor of economic prosperity. Since March 2023, she is an intern at the IMAI.
